WRiting and Editing

I'm a freelance journalist, writer, editor, and researcher. I've written primarily about health and sports as a freelancer, and spent many years writing, editing, and marketing in the AEC and sports nonprofit space. Clients include U.S. News & World Report, AARP.org, Medscape, Atlas Obscura, espnW, SWIMMER, Outdoor Swimmer, magazine, and others. I've also written about science, the environment, history, archaeology, and business. I'm a member in good standing of the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA) and the Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ).

“The Other Side” Documentary

I just launched a Kickstarter campaign with Jon Washer of Jon Washer Photography to produce a documentary film about the inimitable Sarah Thomas. “The Other Side” will present the story of Thomas’ stunning marathon swimming achievements, recent battle with breast cancer, and her upcoming and unprecedented four-way English Channel attempt slated for September 2019. Check out the campaign here: www.theotherside-film.com
