I've always loved art and creating beauty. I took studio art as my second major as an undergrad at Georgetown where I specialized in intaglio printmaking. I adored working in black and white and making images emerge from a seemingly endless cross-hatching of tiny black lines. These days, though, I'm thoroughly enjoying the blended expressiveness and dramatic color possibilities of pastels and chalk. I especially love drawing animals and gladly take suggestions and commissions.
Some of the works below are still available for purchase, and custom pet portraits make the best possible gift for birthdays, Christmas, or to commemorate the passing of a beloved family member. Contact me for details on rates and production timelines. No animal is too small and no commission is too big!
